Andre Dorce received his PhD in Media and Communication Studies from Goldsmiths College, University of London in 2005. He is working on a book about Telenovela consumption and political culture in Mexico. He is currently carrying out reserch on Digital Convergence TV/Internet in a case study taken from Mexican public TV and its audience. He also developed and coordinates Canal 22's Ombudsman Office in Mexico (Defensoría del Televidente del Canal 22). Recently he has been appointed Canal 22' Ombudsman
